Biodiversity appreciation post of the day: the Black and White Treehopper (Membracis sp)!
They look thick, but they're actually very small cicada-like insects. There are more than 50 species within the Membracis genus. This one is also called "Lunata". Their nymphs are also incredibly beautiful.
