This airless tire made for NASA’s Mars rovers could revolutionize tires on Earth.

It uses the shape memory alloy radial technology (SMART) which was first developed by NASA for future planetary exploration rovers. The tire is being further tested and developed by @smarttireco/IG, which has introduced the next-gen bicycle tire METL that uses the same material.
