so , here we are , the end of the yet another year

I dont know about y'all be for me the last day of the year , or even the last few days of the year are where i sit and reflect on everything that happened throughout the year

so for a little context, when i joined computer science 2 years ago and you asked me what my goals once i graduate were , i used to say

oh if i graduate and then land a job that paid 10, 000 birr a month then i think ill be satisfied

i dont know why i thought like that , maybe i was small minded, maybe i was unambitious but that was actually the life goal i was aiming for. and 2 years in , id say ive passed that goal immensely to almost a crazy extent (i wont name numbers because i dont want this to come as a flex) and im only halfway through my college year.

i say this to say, whatever plan you have for yourself, God probably has a better one for you at store, where you think you want one , he'll give you a thousand, but its not gonna be an all up journey , there will be downs as well , but you just have to believe and keep going no matter what, he will reward you in ways you didn't even know possible , to extents you cant even fathom, so that was the biggest take-way of the year

and second take-way actually comes from an award acceptance speech by brad pitt , where he was asked

whats better , the journey or the destination

and he replied with

the company

and i truly could not agree more , i loved the journey , and i loved every achievement and financial success i had this year , but id give it all away in heart beat to keep the company i made along the way, the true gain i made this year are the people in my life i got to enjoy the year with.

so for the people im talking about , i love and appreciate y'all, for the rest of y'all, i love and appreciate y'all too

By the way, the idea for this projet came simply because notion refused to let me add more than one chart on a page unless i buy premium

And thats why were developers , to be able to create things we want if we cant seem to find them elsewhere
