Because when you think about it, a small girl with a flower in her hair has always been seen as the symbol of utmost feminine innocence and sweetness. Its image used to be seen as the embodiment of the concept of "purity".
Now imagine that girl undressing and defiling her own body, acting like a whore, and screeching like a banshee. Could there ever be a worse mockery of the idea of feminine purity? Wouldn't such an act be greatly demoralizing for those who hold "purity" dear?
