Angels are extraterrestrials. They're not from Earth. They don't travel in flying chariots, but in spacecraft.
Despite what some believe, God-Source didn't create a universe of only evil beings leaving Earth as some unique holy place. All beings have free will. In fact, there are benevolent "alien" worlds who pity planets that still treat their own as humans do.
