No matter how you look, it is not in the pixel style.
The guys in our chat already know that I bought myself an iPad. I took it to work with pixels, and also to try myself in classical drawing. I will say right away that the art is not ready, the detailing is not all that great, and in general the body there still looks like something, but I just wanted to share with you. Until recently, I could not even think that I could draw at least a little.

I wanted to draw something like a cartoon, but then I got into realism, but with pleasure) I like to pay attention to details)

🔥 Pixels and everything I think about them...

Many people know that I've been actively drawing the game for 4 days now. A lot has been done in such a short period of time, but damn, how difficult it is.

And the complexity itself lies, believe it or not, in simplicity...

Yes, it is very difficult to make simple graphics when the task is to make a beautiful picture, without complicating it and at the same time it needs to be filled with details.

That's the whole point of pixels. Even the simplest explosion from a blow is not the simplest. Do you know how much I fiddled with it? An hour, over the animation of a small circle of 4 frames.

I took on the game, mistakenly believing that I, a super-mega-stage-eleven pixel artist, would quickly draw everything, but I was calmed down)

But how I love them...
I love measuring these little squares, I love getting new challenges, drawing something new, I love depicting something in such limited conditions. I'm glad that a little over a year ago I met these little cubes.

This is a frame that shows a small part of the game location, which is many times larger.
And the most wonderful thing is that soon I will be able to walk around it. Yes, yes, soon these guys will come to life. Although the release is far away, they will delight me, running back and forth across the arena)

I decided for myself that I will not tear myself apart, making this game, but I can't, because I myself want to see it as soon as possible. And I also decided that I will not fill you with insider information, sorry. I will do it - you will see. I will occasionally write to our chat about what I have done, and throw something in the closed one.

The first thing worth talking about is that I went headlong into development and did not abandon the project, as many might think.

There is a lot of work and it is hard, it is even harder to do all this without support, but I have always coped and will cope now.

I realized one thing
Nothing is impossible and began to learn programming, because I would like to be independent from anyone.

Many founders will understand me, since they themselves constantly run into one-day programmers who not only slow down your development, but also make you feel morally dismoral++, if you know what I mean)

A little about the video⭐️
It clearly shows how one of the enemies, whom you have already seen, dies and a spark falls out of him🔥, which you can pick up.

Since many noscripts are still being configured, I simply assembled the animation frame by frame, so the playback speed of this very animation on different objects in this video is the same, which will not be in the game.

I also sometimes take orders📖 to draw something. The last time a game that should soon be released on TON, I will upload a post about it when it comes out.

I also plan to release short video tutorials on drawing something (if you are interested, write about it in the comments).

Here is the game that I drew to order ⭐️

The game is a remaster of old tanks with Dendy, but with some new features.

On the screen I share with you a piece of the workspace, in which you can evaluate the palette, and you can evaluate the game itself at this link (not an advertisement).

It is also worth mentioning that I only drew game sprites, I did not draw screensavers.

There was a lot of work, it had to be completed in a short time (3 days),😀

The work is hard, but this is what was programmed in 5 days.

💫 I have to program everything
even every shadow frame, a lot of tedious work, a lot of bug fixes, some of them still need to be fixed, and in addition to all this work, I have to draw things that are not in the game yet. But I like doing this and watching my creation come to life. 🩷

⚙️ The controllers are just sketches, and the track that plays in the background is one of the tracks that will play in battle.

Давно не было постов, но работа продолжается 🛠

Первое о чем стоит рассказать ⭐️
это сложное решение перерисовать всю анимацию, а именно увеличить количество кадров для поднятия качества картинки. Было решено переделать еще и концепт, так что заготовки что были ранее не получилось использовать.

Хочется сделать красиво, поэтому придется попотеть.

Сырая версия игры уже есть 🤕
в ней мы настраиваем анимации и ландшафт, чтобы все было красиво, калибруем все что можно, поэтому пока не буду скидывать видосики этого Геймплея)

Второго игрока должно быть проще рисовать, используя за Референс первого, но я ведь люблю сложности, именно поэтому вторым игроком может стать девушка)

Еще немного о референсах ⬆️
Изначально брал за Референс анимации бега из контры, но игра уже устарела, поэтому пришлось сделать полностью свое, а это еще один большой плюс к моим навыкам.

Initially, I took the running animation from Counter-Strike as a Reference, but the game is already outdated, so I had to make my own completely, and this is another big plus to my skills.
