🚨 US approves sale of 12,000 aerial bombs to Israel — State Department

The United States has approved the sale of 12,000 BLU-110A/B general-purpose bomb bodies to Israel worth $151.8 million, the US State Department said.

💬 “The Government of Israel has requested to buy twelve thousand (12,000) BLU-110A/B general purpose, 1,000-pound bomb bodies,” the department said in a statement.

The approval comes amid Israel’s ongoing military campaign against Iran. The State Department said the sale was cleared under emergency authority, waiving the usual congressional review requirements.
