🙄 OK, so now we have more reason to suspect that the US Army’s Instagram page is actually run by a teenager.

The US Army has baffled netizens again, hot on the heels of an infamous "woke" recruitment video. This time, an Instagram story suggests different specialities for various zodiac signs.

"Wondering what your zodiac sign says about the kind of soldier you could be in the army? You'll just have to click through our Instagram story to find the answer because our lips are sealed over here", the post says.

Unfortunately, many of the comments on the post show little amusement, as people apparently think astrology is not the best way for soldiers to choose their career path.

🔍🧾 The US Department of Justice will no longer subpoena the records of reporters while investigating leaks of classified information to the media, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said on Saturday.

The statement comes amid Friday reports about the justice department under the administrations of both Donald Trump and Joe Biden, trying to obtain logs of reporters as part of whistleblower probes to learn their sources, while also imposing a gag order on the media outlet to prevent it from reporting on the investigation.

The spokeswoman also claimed that the White House was unaware of the gag order until Friday night.

🤔 Isn't the White House supposed to know what its administration is doing?

Racism can be found in many places nowadays, even in bird's names.

A new Washington Post report highlights "the racist legacy many birds carry."

For example, Bachman’s sparrow and Wallace’s fruit dove, named after naturalists John Bachman and Alfred Russel Wallace, "bear the names of men who fought for the Southern cause, stole skulls from Indian graves for pseudoscientific studies that were later debunked, and bought and sold Black people."

Some other birds and the organization dedicated to the study of birds were also named after naturalists who were "involved in racist actions," according to the report.

🧐 Where else will the evolution of racial justice take the world?
Double standard?

Twitter declares access to the open internet to be a 'human right,' while depriving some people of that right.

The Twitter Public Policy account tweeted on Saturday that it is "deeply concerned" with the blocking of the platform in Nigeria, and considers access to the internet an "essential human right in modern society".

It doesn't really add up, taking into consideration multiple situations when Twitter appeared to violate its own denoscription of the internet. For example, the former US president, Donald Trump, and other conservative figures who were ousted from the platform for "disobeying" the company’s terms and conditions of use.
