🤭 Psaki: Biden and Obama are ‘real friends, not just Washington friends’

Responding to a question about the relationship between Joe Biden, 79, and Barack Obama, 60, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki–who worked in both administrations–proclaimed that their relationship extends beyonds politics.

“They are real friends, not just Washington friends,” she said during a Monday news briefing.

Jen Psaki added that their relationship is not one of “obligation,” and that the two have “developed a deep and close friendship through the course of their time serving together, and that has continued.”

The two are set to meet for lunch on Tuesday, prior to Obama’s afternoon ACA event at the White House Rose Garden.

This will be Obama’s first time back at the White House since he left office in early 2017.

The Russian armed forces have destroyed a training center for Ukrainian forces near Ochakiv, which was used to accommodate foreign mercenaries, with high-precision long-range sea-based weapons, Russian defense ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Tuesday.

"On the evening of April 4, high-precision long-range sea-based weapons destroyed a training center for Ukrainian special operation forces near Ochakiv, which was also used to accommodate foreign mercenaries," Konashenkov told reporters.

🤨 Elon Musk took to Twitter to conduct a poll on whether users should have an edit button on the microblogging site to modify tweets, a feature that has so fat been unavailable.

"Do you want an edit button?", Musk asked the Twitterati, giving a polling option.

Twitter chief executive Parag Agrawal, responding to Musk's tweet, highlighted the "consequences" of the poll result and urged users to vote "carefully".

"The consequences of this poll will be important. Please vote carefully", Agrawal said.
