😬 New Twitter owner Elon Musk told Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to "stop hitting on" him after she took issue with how the social media platform is now controlled by "some billionaire with an ego problem".
"Stop hitting on me, I'm really shy," Musk responded to AOC's tweet, in which she lamented how "tired" she was to "collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening bc some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform and skews it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special."

🐥 First recent US case of human bird flu confirmed in Colorado
A Colorado prison inmate has become the first person in the US to test positive for bird flu in a recent outbreak that has led to the deaths of millions of chickens and turkeys, but federal officials say they still see little threat to the general public.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Thursday evening that the infected man had been in a prerelease program, and was helping to remove chickens from an infected farm. The man was isolated and is being treated with an antiviral drug. Other people involved in the bird removal operation in Colorado have tested negative, but they are being retested out of an abundance of caution.
More than 35 million chickens and turkeys have been killed and removed to avoid spread, the U.S. Department of Agriculture reported.
