Briefing of Russia's Ministry of Defence:

▪The Russian Aerospace Forces have hit 11 Ukrainian areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment, four strongholds, eight ammunition depots, as well as two radar stations for detecting air targets in the Kramatorsk and Krestishche areas;

▪Six Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters were destroyed at night with high-precision Onyx missiles of the Bastion missile system in the area of the Chervonoglinskoye military airfield in the Odessa region;

▪Missile troops and artillery units have hit 318 areas of concentration of manpower and military equipment and as a result of strikes, up to 400 neo-Nazis have been eliminated;

▪A Ukrainian Air Force MiG-29 jet has been shot down over Severodonetsk

Russian MoD on the attempt by Kiev to seize Snake Island:

▪Kiev, with the aid of advisers from the US and the UK, planned to seize Snake Island;

▪Over the last two days, Kiev made several attempts to assault the island by land, air, and sea;

▪Ukrainian troops tried to capture Snake Island because it is important for ensuring control over the north-western part of the Black Sea;

▪During the attacks on Snake Island, three Ukrainian Su-24s, one Su-27, three Mi-8s with troops, and one Mi-24 were shot down;

▪29 Ukrainian UAVs were shot down in the area of Snake Island, including eight Bayraktar TB-2 drones;

▪During an attempt to land troops on Snake Island on the night of 8 May, three armoured Ukrainian assault boats were destroyed;

▪More than 50 Ukrainian saboteurs were killed while trying to capture the island;
