🗣 Former US President Donald Trump has announced the dates of his national tour dedicated to the history of his administration that he will be conducting together with former television host Bill O'Reilly.

According to the release, Trump will be in Sunrise, Florida on December 11 and will head to Orlando the following day. On December 18, he will hold an event in Houston, Texas and will then go to Dallas on December 19.
Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antonov has left Moscow to return to Washington following an agreement between presidents Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden.

Before departing he told Sputnik that:

- he is heading [to the US] with an optimistic mood;

- he already has plans, scheduled meetings, and lots of work;

- he looks forward to constructive work with American colleagues to build equitable, pragmatic relations.

🔸The United States will continue to impose sanctions against the Russian companies involved in the Nord Stream 2 project, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told CNN on Sunday.

🔸In addition, the Biden aide said that Washington is also preparing another package of sanctions related to the Alexei Navalny case.
🪂 A US Army veteran from Utah, Joseph Dale Jaramillo, has finally achieved his dream by making his first skydiving jump on Saturday – right on his 90th birthday.

"I want to do it all over again!" he shouted after landing from a 14,000-foot height.

Jaramillo reportedly promised to make a second jump when he turns 95.

Joe Biden confirmed this year that Washington would be wrapping up its almost 20-year-long war in Afghanistan.

While the opponents of foreign wars welcomed the decision, this was hardly good news for the thousands of Afghans who have worked as interpreters, translators, drivers, cooks, and advisers to US personnel over the years.

These people and their families are either receiving death threats or being killed without any warning from Taliban fighters, NPR reports, citing the accounts of several locals.

🇷🇺 Russian diplomats in the United States are ready to mend the ties between the two countries, Russian Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov said on Sunday.

Touching upon the problem with visas between the United States and Russia, Antonov said that this matter requires a dialogue, which can be conducted only on an equal basis.

Reacting to the news about potential new sanctions, the diplomat said that such measures are not the way to stabilise the relations between Russia and the United States and they contradict the tone Washington set after the summit in Geneva.

The US is waiting for a 'clearer signal' from North Korea to start denuclearization talks, US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said on Sunday, just days after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said that his country should be equally ready for dialogue or confrontation with the new US administration.

The US official stressed that "there is no substitute for diplomacy" to make progress towards the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
