🔻Former President Donald Trump will speak at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Texas next Friday after a gunman killed 19 children and two adults at an elementary school in the state.

“America needs real solutions and real leadership at this moment, not politicians and partisanship. I will keep my longtime commitment to speak in Texas at the NRA Convention and deliver an important address to America,” Trump said.

“In the meantime, we all continue to pray for the victims, their families, and for our entire nation — we are all in this together!”

📈Biden remains underwater in his approval rating, with 54% of Americans disapproving and 41% approving of the job he is doing, according to Gallup. Gallup shows a higher approval rating than the Reuters-Ipsos poll.

The 16% of satisfied Americans is 20 points lower than four months after President Joe Biden took office and a six-point drop since last month, Gallup’s survey data shows.

Gallup puts Biden’s approval rating at 41%, but according to a Reuters-Ipsos poll released Tuesday, Biden’s approval rating is 36%.

Biden’s 36% approval rating from Reuters-Ipsos is his lowest to date in that particular poll.

😳🐔🐔Washington state officials have identified two more bird flu outbreaks in King County. The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) said two King County flocks tested positive for H5N1. Both were backyard flocks.

There have now been 11 confirmed flocks with the virus since May 5, in eight different counties. Officials say each has been backyard flocks with substantial exposure to wild waterfowl.

State veterinarian Dr. Amber Itle is cautioning those with flocks to withdraw from exhibitions or fairs, at least until June.
