🔻A 5th victim was found in the Bavaria train crash. Police said Saturday that the body had been found beneath a train that derailed Friday near the southern German resort town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the Alps.

The man's body was uncovered after initial recovery workers had to wait for a heavy crane to be brought to the site before continuing their search.

The regional train headed for Munich went off the tracks Friday afternoon in Burgrain after pulling out of the resort town from where it had set off. Three double-deck carriages overturned partly, and people were pulled out of the windows to safety.

🍼🍼Abbott Laboratories has finally reopened a Michigan plant whose shutdown caused a nationwide shortage of baby formula, taking a step toward alleviating an acute national shortage that has sent parents scrambling for supplies.

Subsequent shortages were particularly worrying to parents of infants with allergies or certain metabolic conditions. They desperately scoured stores and online sources for the specialized formulas.

Abbott, which controls about 40 percent of the US baby food market, said Saturday that it was restarting production of its hypoallergenic EleCare formula and that the product should be back on store shelves around June 20.

😳🏔After hiking on a Grand Canyon National Park trail, a Canadian woman has passed away. In a statement, the National Park Service said the victim had been identified as 41-year-old Melanie Goodine, from Ottawa, Ontario.

Goodine was hiking out of the Arizona canyon on Thursday after trekking to the Colorado River earlier that day.

At approximately 5:50 p.m. MDT, the Grand Canyon Regional Communications Center received a report of a hiker in distress on the Bright Angel Trail above Three-Mile Resthouse. An investigation into the incident is being conducted by the National Park Service in coordination with the Coconino County Medical Examiner.

💔 Shakira and her longtime partner Gerard Piqué have separated after 11 years. The “Can't Remember to Forget You” singer and the longtime Spanish international and Barcelona defender released a joint statement on the matter.

‘’We regret to confirm that we are separating. We ask for privacy at this moment for the well-being of our children, who are our maximum priority," they said Saturday. "Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect." Shakira, 45, and Piqué, 35, first met shortly before the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The soccer player appeared in Shakira's music video for “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)," which was the tournament’s official song.

🥺Ann Turner Cook, whose cherubic baby face was known the world over as the original Gerber baby, died at 95. Gerber announced Cook's passing in an Instagram post on Friday.

"Many years before becoming an extraordinary mother, teacher, and writer, her smile and expressive curiosity captured hearts everywhere and will continue to live on as a symbol for all babies," the company said.

The image was such a hit that it became the company's trademark in 1931 and has been used in all packaging and advertising since.

😨🌨Parts of South Florida experienced road flooding from heavy rain and wind Saturday as a storm system that battered Mexico moved across the state.

Officials in Miami warned drivers about road conditions as many cars were stuck on flooded streets.

“This is a dangerous and life-threatening situation. Traveling during these conditions is not recommended. It’s better to wait. Turn around, don’t drown,” the city of Miami tweeted. The city was towing stranded vehicles from flooder roadways.

🔻A man stabbed a doctor and two nurses inside a Southern California hospital emergency ward on Friday and remained inside a room for hours before police arrested him, authorities said.

The man walked into Encino Hospital Medical Center in the San Fernando Valley shortly before 4 p.m., Los Angeles police Officer Drake Madison said.

The man had parked his car in the middle of a street and went to the emergency room, where he asked for treatment for anxiety before stabbing the doctor and nurses, authorities said.

Fire officials said three victims were taken to a trauma center in critical condition. Police later said one was in critical condition and underwent surgery.

Two people have been shot dead and at least 13 people wounded in Philadelphia, according to police.

A police officer fired shots in response. A person who is considered to be a suspect sustained a gunshot wound to a forearm, but it is not not confirmed yet whether it was the officer who shot him. The conditions of those who were wounded in the shooting is unknown.

🎥 Alexey Zhuravlev, a member of Russia's parliament, who has visited Donetsk several times since 2014, has arrived in the city again: "The school is destroyed in the central district... they're firing at whatever they can".

"Do they really think Donetsk will all of a sudden say 'Oh, not again, we surrender,' this is what they want?" he asks.

But despite the difficult conditions, life goes on, as Donetsk residents told the parliamentarian. "They're our heroes! We will prevail, that's for no doubt!", Zhuravlev says.
