🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦 President Biden told secretaries Austin and Blinken to tone down after they said publicly that the administration wanted Ukraine to “win” in the conflict with Russia, NBC News reports.
In a conference call held after the two visited Kiev in April, Biden expressed the belief they had gone too far. He voiced concerns that such comments could create unrealistic expectations and increase the risk of direct conflict with Russia, according to the report.
“Biden was not happy when Blinken and Austin talked about winning in Ukraine,” an unnamed official told the channel. “He was not happy with the rhetoric.”

❗️ Russian FM Lavrov speaks on the situation in Ukraine:
▪️ Russia did not invade Ukraine, the operation was declared when there was no other way of explaining to the West that dragging Ukraine into NATO was a criminal act;
▪️ Russia did not attack anyone in Ukraine, rather, Russians were attacked in that country;
▪️On the two UK citizens sentenced to death in the DPR: I am sure the DPR has an independent court, London needs to appeal to Donetsk.

🗣 Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus have duped author JK Rowling into thinking she was speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
During the conversation with the comedians, the Brit stated that she supported tougher sanctions against Russia.
The writer also backed the idea of penning the Harry Potter killing curse "avada kedavra" on rockets launched to Donetsk and Lugansk.
In addition during the prank call, she stated that she would look into the possibility of removing the Z-shaped scar on Potter's forehead, replacing it with a Ukrainian trident.

📣👁🗨President Joe Biden told The Associated Press on Thursday that the American people are "really, really down" after a tumultuous two years with the coronavirus pandemic, volatility in the economy and now surging gasoline prices slamming family budgets.
He said a recession is not inevitable and bristled at claims by Republican lawmakers that last year's COVID-19 aid plan was wholly to blame for inflation reaching a 40-year high, calling that argument "bizarre."
As for the overall American mindset, Biden said, "People are really, really down."
"They're really down," he said. "The need for mental health in America, it has skyrocketed, because people have seen everything upset. Everything they've counted on upset. But most of it's the consequence of what's happened, what happened as a consequence of the COVID crisis."

😷Florida is the only state that has not preordered COVID-19 vaccine doses for babies and toddlers. This comes after an FDA advisory panel voted to recommend Pfizer and Moderna’s vaccines for kids over 6 months earlier this week.
“We encouraged Florida on several occasions to order vaccines," Jean-Pierre said. By not doing so, the state “will not have immediate, ready access to some," White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre.
A separate panel for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will meet in the coming days to discuss, and the CDC director could make things official by the weekend, making the shots available to the youngest Americans as soon as next week.

💸Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk is being jointly sued with his electric car company Tesla and space tourism firm SpaceX for $258 billion over claims that they engineered a racketeering scheme involving the cryptocurrency Dogecoin, Bloomberg reported on Thursday.
The lawsuit was filed by Keith Johnson, an investor who says he and others lost money on Dogecoin because of the actions of three defendants who inflated the cryptocurrency’s value, then let it collapse.
The suit, filed on Thursday in a US federal court in New York City, seeks to represent a class of people who have lost money trading in Dogecoin since April 2019. The plaintiffs are demanding $86 billion in primary damages and so-called triple damages of $172 billion
