We call on all parties to commit to an immediate, indefinite, negotiated ceasefire, so as to end the violence, restore stability to Tigray, and create a context for an inclusive dialogue that preserves the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Ethiopian state," State Department spokesperson Price said on Tuesday.
The US also urges Ethiopian authorities to immediately restore telecommunication services in Tigray.

Rescue personnel have discovered more bodies and tunnels under the rubble of the collapsed building in Surfside, Florida as the search for surviving residents entered the sixth day.
"At the last 12 hours, we found some more people. Unfortunately, they are not alive", Commander of the Israeli National Rescue Unit Colonel Golan Vach told CNN on Wednesday.
