The creatures were reportedly awoken from their nap by a person who got too close in order to take a photo.
Lifeguards were on standby and ensured that no one was injured. They also helped the sea lions leave the beach safely.

▪️ The website lizforleader.co.uk went live at the weekend as part of the foreign secretary’s campaign to succeed Johnson as prime minister.

▪️ But a search for the domain name, first carried out by Sky News, shows that it was registered on June 8, 2022.

▪️ This was two days after Boris Johnson narrowly won the 1922 Committee vote of confidence, during which Truss publicly supported him.

🤨 US President Joe Biden’s visit to Saudi Arabia, slated for later this month, has been delayed apparently due to fears related to POTUS’ age, according to The Telegraph.

▪️ The newspaper reported that while White House aides cited “diplomatic” reasons for postponing Biden’s trip, it seems the real explanation is that officials are concerned that extended travel would be “crazy” for a 79-year-old POTUS.

▪️ This was preceded by a piece by New York Times correspondent Peter Baker, who pointed out that “managing the schedule of the oldest president in American history presents distinct challenges.”

▪️ The images were shared by a French politician and reportedly broadcast by Greek and Iranian news outlets.

▪️ The sources added that any final decision would depend on whether Riyadh makes progress toward ending the armed conflict in neighboring Yemen.

▪️ In February 2021, Joe Biden, who as a presidential candidate vowed to make Saudi Arabia a "pariah” state, declared a halt to US support for the Kingdom’s offensive operations in Yemen, including “relevant arms sales” to Riyadh.

The majority of US Democrats do not want President Joe Biden to run for reelection in 2024, according to a New York Times/Siena College poll out Monday.

▪️ A total of 64% Democratic voters say they prefer a new candidate in the upcoming presidential campaign, the survey said. Only 13% of US voters believe that the country is on the right track, according to the poll.

▪️ In June, the White House confirmed that Biden will seek reelection in 2024, denying claims that his age could pose a problem. The administration said it is not focused on the age issue and the president’s priority is to work to the benefit of American people and improve their lives.

China and Pakistan launched their four-day Sea Guardian-2 naval drills near the waters of Shanghai on Sunday, China's Ministry of National Defense stated

While the official statement said that the drill “has nothing to do with the regional situation and is not targeted at any third party”, the exercises coincides with the ongoing US-led RIMPAC (Rim of the Pacific) Exercises which kicked off near Hawaii in the last week of June and will continue until August.
