Former President Donald Trump is set to announce class actions lawsuits today against the CEOs of Facebook and Twitter, Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey, Axios reported on Wednesday citing sources.

The former president is completely banned from Twitter and is banned from Facebook for the next two years following the 6 January Capitol riots.

Donald Trump announced class action lawsuits on 7 July targeting the CEOs of Facebook, Google, and Twitter – Mark Zuckerberg, Sundar Pichai, and Jack Dorsey.

The legal effort will be spearheaded by the America First Policy Institute (AFPI) non-profit organisation, which backs the former Republican president and many of his policies, Axios reported earlier.
