❗️ The Russian MoD’s latest statements on the Ukraine crisis:

▪️ Active Allied Forces' offensive operations have eliminated more than 50 percent of the personnel in the AFU’s 14th and 66th mechanised brigades.

▪️ Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery strikes continue against military facilities in Ukraine.

▪️ As part of counter-battery warfare, three platoons of Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, two artillery platoons of Acatsiya guns and three platoons of D-30 howitzers have been suppressed at firing positions in the DPR.

▪️ Russian Aerospace Forces fighter aircraft have shot down 1 Mi-24 helicopter near in Dnepropetrovsk Region.

▪️ Russian air defences have destroyed 7 UAVs in Kharkov Region.

▪️ Some 267 Ukrainian airplanes and 146 helicopters, 1,727 unmanned aerial vehicles, 365 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,287 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 797 multiple launch rocket systems, 3,290 field artillery and mortars, as well as 4,820 special military vehicles have been destroyed during the operation.

📹 A naked Florida felon armed with a machete was arrested Monday after demanding a man’s clothes at knifepoint, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

▪️ The victim told deputies that Brandon Wright suddenly came running out of bushes where he was picking berries and told him to hand over his garments, wallet, and phone around 10 a.m., officials said.

▪️ A police helicopter tracked Wright down and relayed his activities to a dispatcher.

▪️ The sheriff’s office said Wright had prior convictions for kidnapping, gun possession by a felon, battery on a law enforcement officer, cocaine possession, and resisting arrest.

▪️ He remains in custody without bond.

▪️ OPEC has slightly upgraded its forecast for oil production for 2022 outside the organization by 65,000 barrels per day and expects it to be 65.8 million barrels per day.

❗The Ukrainian Army has again fired at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. No casualties were reported, a member of the main council of the regional administration said, also publishing a video.

👮 A police officer who watched and laughed as her male colleague broke an elderly woman's arm and dislocated her shoulder, has been jailed.

▪️ Daria Jalali was sentenced to 45 days in jail followed by three years of probation for a case the presiding judge described as “incomprehensible.”

▪️ The 28-year-old officer was using a body-worn camera and the judge watched the 12 minute footage showing how Karen Garner, who had dementia, was treated during the arrest in 2020.

▪️ Policeman Austin Hopp twisted the arm of Mrs Garner and pushed her to the floor as she picked flowers, after she had left a Walmart store without paying for goods valued at $14 - equivalent to around £10.

▪️ The case in the city of Loveland, Colorado in the USA saw officer Hopp sentenced to five years in prison in May after pleading guilty to second-degree assault.
