🇮🇷 🇪🇺 Iran is ready to consider Europe’s new proposal on the nuclear deal if its demands on sanctions and other issues are taken into account, the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Friday, citing an informed Iranian official.

▪️ According to the Iranian official familiar with the nuclear talks, the EU's proposal will be acceptable to Tehran if the bloc provides Iran with confidence in various issues, including political claims related to safeguards, sanctions and guarantees for the sustainability of the agreement.

▪️ Earlier in the day, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a European diplomat, that the European Union had made a proposal, with significant concessions, to Iran on the revival of the nuclear deal.

In a bid to make France more eco-friendly, all new buildings in commercial zones across the country must comply with the new environmental legislation.

▪️ The law will sanction businesses to either partially cover any roof space with plants or install solar panels to generate electricity. Green roofs are becoming an increasingly popular feature of city infrastructure around the world. This is because they:

😡 Meta*, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, has been rewriting websites its users visit, and letting the company follow them across the web after they click the links in its apps, according to new research from an ex-Google engineer.

▪️ The two apps have been taking advantage of the fact that users who click on links are taken to webpages in an “in-app browser”, controlled by Facebook or Instagram, rather than sent to the user’s web browser of choice, such as Safari or Firefox.

🗯 “The Instagram app injects their tracking code into every website shown, including when clicking on ads, enabling them [to] monitor all user interactions, like every button and link tapped, text selections, screenshots, as well as any form inputs, like passwords, addresses and credit card numbers,” says Felix Krause, a privacy researcher who founded an app development tool acquired by Google in 2017.

The diplomat mentioned that sanctions against Russia have created some obstacles to Moscow-Beijing business relations.

💬"The relevant authorities of the two countries need to optimize coordination and interaction in order to solve all the difficulties related to settlements in bilateral trade. China will continue to increase settlements in national currencies in trade with Russia. China is ready to make full use of the relevant financial infrastructure and financial institutions to ensure the stable development of bilateral trade," Zhang said.

According to the ambassador, the share of the yuan in bilateral trade settlements "increased from 3.1% in 2014 to 17.9% in 2021".
