🇭🇹🇨🇺 Is "We are here to watch not to help" just rhetoric?

US Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas warned Cubans and Haitians against attempting to flee to the US amid unrest in their home countries, as entry will be denied, even if they survive a perilous sea voyage.

Mayorkas told reporters that, amid unrest in Haiti and Cuba, the US Coast Guard had deployed additional air assets to monitor the situation with greater visibility.

Joe Biden is going to Pennsylvania today in a rush in order to stop the Forensic Audit that the Pennsylvania Republican Senate is in the process of doing. Philadelphia was a cesspool of corruption, which will soon be revealed by the audit. Why are they so concerned that a President, who never goes anywhere, would hop onto beautiful Air Force One and head to Philadelphia if it were an honest election? Why not let the audit go forward and make everybody, on both sides, happy? The results will be the results. But they know it was not an honest election, Philadelphia was one of the most corrupt cities in the Country—and so is Detroit, and so is Milwaukee, and so is Atlanta, and Pittsburgh, and Oakland, and Baltimore. Corruption has gone on for years, but in the 2020 Presidential Election Scam, with the mail-in ballots and the use of Covid to cheat, corruption reached new levels. Remember the poll watchers being thrown out, the windows being sealed so nobody could look in, the ballot drops, and all of the other events that took place that changed so rapidly the Big Trump Win on election night. 
 
Joe should say go forward with this, with all of these audits. His visit is a joke. He doesn’t need to visit, all he needs to do is let them do an audit and find out what happened. Who knows, maybe they’ll say the election was on the up and up, but many people would be shocked. Let the audit go forward like it is in Arizona, despite 107 Democrat lawyers trying to stop it and failing. 
 
Let the Forensic Audit go, Joe. Don’t fight it. Show them how honest it was.

A former Trump adviser, Steve Bannon, asserted that Republican Arizona Senate Leader Karen Fann will send a letter to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors showing evidence of inaccuracies in the US 2020 presidential election in the state of Arizona.

🗣 “The ground game is in Arizona, is in Georgia, is about to be in Pennsylvania," he said. “And the shot heard around the world is going to be the shot that Karen Fann takes when she sends the letter with the receipts and the evidence to Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, I believe, in the next 10 days.”

🥊 Conor McGregor was handed a six-month medical suspension after the champion UFC fighter broke his leg during a recent match in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Although the Irish MMA performer recently noted that he was recovering after having undergone surgery to realign a broken tibia, he is barred from the octagon - at the latest - until January 7, 2022, and also not permitted to participate in any contact training until August 10.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez has warned that calls for humanitarian intervention in the country, may pave the way to a military intervention by the US.

🗣 "To ask for humanitarian intervention in Cuba is to ask for military intervention by the US," Rodriguez told journalists.

At the same time the minister blamed Washington for the recent nationwide protests, adding that "it will be held responsible for their consequences."

Trump responded to Biden, who declared the "big lie" of a stolen 2020 election, and counted the votes himself.

🇨🇳 Republican lawmakers keep questioning the readiness of the American military

Republican US Senator Tom Cotton voiced doubt about the US Navy's ability to defeat China in battle, pointing at how the American military has, in his opinion, shifted away from warfighting.

🗣 "Obviously, the Navy has a big and complex task, but the single most important thing we have our surface Navy for is to be ready to fight and defeat the Chinese Navy", Cotton said. "And right now, I have real problems -- real doubts – the Navy has instilled the kind of warfighting mentality that would allow us to accomplish that goal."

The senator asserted that the US "allowed China to steal a march on us that relates especially shipbuilding", pointing at a "massive shipbuilding campaign" by Beijing and suggesting that Washington should follow their lead.

Sources reportedly say evacuation will charter commercial aircraft

The Biden administration is set to announce the start of the evacuation of Afghan visa applicants, Reuters has reported, citing two anonymous sources.

The evacuation will be carried out as an operation dubbed "Allied Refuge", the news agency said.

Several media outlets earlier reported that some Afghan applicants for American visas had been experiencing trouble getting them prior to the US exit from Afghanistan.

Many of the applicants fear the Taliban could retaliate against them and their families for helping American and NATO forces.

❌ Asylum-seekers trying to reach the US from Cuba and Haiti by sea will be stopped and deported to another country, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on Tuesday.

“Allow me to be clear: if you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States,” he insisted.

Mayorkas, himself a Cuban immigrant, said the authorities would ship those claiming asylum to other countries so that they could be dealt with elsewhere — a controversial new trend in handling refugees and political dissidents.

An excerpt from the book, ennoscriptd 'I Alone Can Fix It: Donald J. Trump's Catastrophic Final Year', recounts how Esper told his colleagues on election night that he had started "rooting for Democrats" while watching the news coverage of the vote.

Donald Trump sacked Esper on 9 November 2020, less than a week after the US voted.

⏳The US is still reviewing Haiti’s request for additional aid and troops after the assassination of President Jovenel Moise.

“We've also responded to a number of their specific requests in terms of personnel and aid and assistance on the law enforcement front as they are working to move the investigation forward”, White House spokesperson Jen Psaki said in a press briefing on Wednesday.

Jovenel Moise was shot dead at his residence last week. His wife, Martine Moïse, was wounded and airlifted to a US hospital.
