Twitter's former head of security, Peiter Zatko, filed a complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Justice, saying that Twitter executives deceived federal regulators and the company's own board of directors about “extreme, egregious deficiencies” in its defenses against hackers, as well as about efforts against spam.
✍️ The Washington Post, citing a copy of the complaint that it obtained, reported that among the most serious allegations in the complaint is that Twitter violated the terms of an 11-year-old agreement with the Federal Trade Commission by falsely claiming to have a robust security plan. It is also reported that Zatko warned his colleagues that the software on half of the company's servers had long been outdated and is now vulnerable, and the company's executives concealed from the board of directors facts about the number of hacks and the lack of protection of user data.
In addition, Zatko’s complaint claims that the company was more concerned about the growth of the number of users, rather than the reduction of spam, although unwanted content worsened user experience

💬Pink Floyd founder Roger Waters has criticized Western sanctions against Russian culture and sports:
"It's complete idiocy. And it just shows how these people's brains work. What good do you get from banning concerts that play Tchaikovsky's music or telling people they can't read Dostoyevsky? It's obviously crazy," Waters said.
He added that a similar situation has developed in sports, and wondered why the West does not introduce sanctions against, for example, Israel or the US.
"Didn't you notice that in 2003 they invaded Iraq and killed, we don't know, maybe around a million people?" the artist asked.
