Netanyahu has opposed Israeli PM Yair Lapid, accusing him of “completely abandoning” the fight against talks to resume the Iran deal over the past year.
🗯️“In the past year, Lapid and [Defense Minister Benny Gantz] completely abandoned the public struggle against the Iran nuclear deal,” Netanyahu said in a statement. “For 12 years, we fought this deal with determination and even caused the US to withdraw from it. But in their only year in power, Lapid and Gantz let their guard down and enabled the US and Iran to reach a nuclear deal that endangers our future," former premier Neatanyahu said.

😱Scientists plan to resurrect the extinct Tasmanian tiger
▪️A new complex project will combine gene editing, ancient DNA retrieval, artificial wombs and other technological advances to bring striped carnivorous marsupial, which has been extinct for nearly 100 years, back to life
▪️Thylacines, as the creatures are officially known, disappeared from virtually everywhere except the Australian island of Tasmania about 2,000 years ago. There, humans who saw these coyote-size animals as livestock predators drove the species to extinction.

🚨 Tenant kills 3 people in Houston
A man evicted from a Houston apartment building shot five other tenants, killing three of them, on Sunday morning in a mixed industrial-residential neighborhood in southwest Houston after setting fire to the house to lure them out.
The incident happened at about 1 a.m. Sunday, with police and fire crews later responding to the scene after reports of a fire, police Chief Troy Finner said.
The suspect opened fire as firefighters battled the blaze, forcing first responders to take cover until police officers spotted the gunman and fatally shot him, Finner said. Neighbor Robin Ahrens said the shooter had been jobless, behind on his rent and had been recently notified he was going to be evicted. He was also dealing with a colon cancer diagnosis.

🚔 Release body-cam footage showing officers restrain man who later died
A caller to 911 in Salt Lake City said a man had come into a brewery in his underwear, tried to steal beer and was running around in the street, posing a danger to himself and to drivers. Police tried to detain the man. Soon, Nykon Brandon was dead.
Activists on Saturday were asking why an unarmed person wound up dead and were accusing police of using disproportionate force. They have called for reforms, saying rather than armed police who can often escalate situations, a better solution would be for special mental health crisis teams to respond.
The police department said a thorough investigation was being conducted by an outside agency and that the department’s own internal affairs unit would conduct a separate investigation.

‼️ Kiev suffering from shortages of qualified military specialists - Source
The Russian forces have almost completely eliminated qualified flight personnel of the Ukrainian Air Force, and Kiev’s attempts to "plug the holes" are only delaying the imminent catastrophe, a military-diplomatic source told reporters.
"The entire qualified airlift crew of the former air forces of Ukraine - MiG-29, Su-27 and Su-25 aircraft - was actually eliminated by the effective actions of the Russian Aerospace Forces and air defense systems," the source said.
The source explained that Kiev had involved former cadets of the Kharkiv military institute, who did not have time to finish their education, in combat missions. According to the source, such recruits get shot down, if not on the first, then on the second sortie.
The source said that attempts by the West to recruit pilots of Soviet aircraft for Ukraine, under contract in Poland or other Eastern European countries, have failed and Kiev’s "hysterical attempts to ‘plug the holes’ will only delay for some time the military catastrophe of the Kiev regime and the political catastrophe of its patrons in Washington."

🌕 NASA moon rocket on track for launch despite lightning hits
The new moon rocket remained on track to blast off on a crucial test flight Monday, despite a series of lightning strikes at the launch pad. The 322-foot (98-meter) Space Launch System rocket is the most powerful ever built by NASA. It’s poised to send an empty crew capsule into lunar orbit, a half-century after NASA’s Apollo program, which landed 12 astronauts on the moon.
Astronauts could return to the moon in a few years, if this six-week test flight goes well. NASA officials caution, however, that the risks are high and the flight could be cut short. The capsule alone has more than 1,000 sensors.
After so many years of delays and setbacks, the launch team was thrilled to finally be so close to the inaugural flight of the Artemis moon-exploration program, named after Apollo’s twin sister in Greek mythology.
