😳 Tracy Stone-Manning, Biden's nominee to lead the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), was an active accomplice in an ecoterrorism crime who knew about it "far in advance", one of the men convicted for the crime has argued.
The claim was made by John P. Blount, who along with Stone-Manning was a member of the environmental extremist group Earth First! that committed acts of ecoterrorism during the Eighties and Nineties.
Blount spiked trees in Idaho's Clearwater National Forest in 1989 and was later sentenced to 17 months in prison.
On Thursday, the outlet E&E News quoted Blount as saying that "[Stone-Manning] knew about it far in advance, a couple of months before we headed out."
It transpires that Stone-Manning not only collaborated with ecoterrorists, but actually helped to plan the tree-spiking operation.

Joe Biden said that misinformation about coronavirus vaccines on major social platforms kills people by fueling the pandemic among the unvaccinated.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters during a Friday briefing that Facebook needed to enforce more actions to rid the social media platform of misinformation, noting that the platform is not doing enough to do away with false claims about COVID-19 or related vaccines.

The US is flexing regional readiness in a Pacific deployment of dozens of F-22 raptors.
"We have never had this many [F-22] Raptors deployed together in the Pacific Air Forces area of operations," PACAF Commander Gen. Ken Wilsbach revealed.
While China has 20 to 24 operational fifth-generation fighter jets, the US has some 180 deployable F-22s, CNN reported, citing Carl Schuster, a former director of operations at the Joint Intelligence Center of the US Pacific Command.
"The Pacific Air Force is demonstrating that it can deploy as many or more fifth-generation aircraft into the theater on short notice than [China] currently has in its entire inventory," he said.

The White House press secretary has once again gone to bat against Fox News’ Peter Doocy, adding to a growing list of squabbles between the two since the start of the Biden administration.
This time it was a Doocy question, "how long has the administration been spying on people’s Facebook profiles looking for vaccine misinformation?,” which appeared to take Psaki somewhat aback.
She quickly remarked that Doocy’s inquiry was a “loaded and inaccurate question which I would refute” and reiterated that all posts reviewed are publicly available, and, as such, would not suggest any “spying” efforts had occured.
