🥴 The awkward moments of the new British leader Liz Truss:

▪️During a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Liz Truss said that she would never recognize Russia's sovereignty over the Voronezh and Rostov regions (which have both been part of Russia for centuries): “the UK will never recognize Russian sovereignty over these regions”;

▪️Said that Britain provides support to “Baltic allies through the Black Sea”;

▪️Declared “absolute” support for Britons who go to Ukraine to participate in the conflict, but then changed her mind and decided that she does not support "direct involvement of our (UK) troops in Ukraine";

▪️During one of her speeches, she made an about face, saying that she would "fight for" Putin, but then immediately corrected herself;

▪️She expressed her readiness to use nuclear weapons if necessary: “I think it’s an important duty of the prime minister and I’m ready to do it"
