#URGENT: UK citizen arrested in Spain over 2020 Twitter hack - US Justice Department

British man Joseph O’Connor was arrested by authorities in Estepona, Spain on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old is facing “multiple charges in connection with the July 2020 hack of Twitter that resulted in the compromise of over 130 Twitter accounts, including those belonging to politicians, celebrities and companies,” the Justice Department said in a statement.

His charges also include computer intrusions related to takeovers of TikTok and Snapchat user accounts and for cyberstalking a juvenile victim.

If convicted, O’Connor will be sentenced in the US.

Representative Eric Swalwell’s campaign spent tens of thousands of dollars on expensive restaurants and hotels, liquor delivery and limo services during the second quarter of this year, data from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) reveals.

Here are some numbers:

🔸The Democrat spent more than $10,000 on 26 rides from various limousine and luxury car providers, and more than $26,000 on stylish hotels.

🔸As for his amazing thirst for alcoholic stimulants, in nine consecutive orders ranging from $5.79 to $124.86, the lawmaker spent $566 on "Food & Beverage" in Boston, Massachusetts, through the liquor delivery service Drizly.

🔸The 40-year-old also spent $1,151 on "Refreshments" from seven excursions to Capitol Hill Wine and Spirits, and more than $4,400 on "Catering" and "Refreshments" at two California wineries on the same day.

🔸Another $7,000 was spent in Washington, DC at restaurants and steakhouses. Swalwell allegedly ate at Charlie Palmer Steak, O-Ku Sushi, STK Steakhouse in downtown New York City, and other exclusive restaurants for a total of 13 meals.

Overall, the campaign shelled out more than $500,000 – all for just a second quarter of 2021.

Democrats are now suggesting that budget reconciliation can be used to pass Mail-In Ballot legislation as well as trying to include Amnesty in their infrastructure package. The infrastructure package has little to do with infrastructure as we know it, bridges, roads, tunnels, etc., but is a dramatic expansion of Government that will cost much more than the $3.5 trillion being discussed. Don’t let this happen!

If Amnesty is included in the infrastructure package, there will be a run on our Southern Border the likes of which we have never seen before. It will be a signal that says "come to America now, because you will soon be a citizen." Providing Amnesty to illegal aliens, in the history of what already is considered the greatest Border catastrophe, will result in disaster beyond our gravest nightmares. No country can pay this price. Will lead to ruination!

Any effort to dictate national Mail-In Voting will be a disaster for our Country and for conservatism. There will never be a Republican elected to high office again. I urge every Republican to fight this and deny Democrats a quorum if that is what it takes to make sure that the Democrats can’t use reconciliation.

Republicans must push back for the sake of our Country and, far less importantly, the sake of the Republican Party!

Paul introduced a scientific paper that he said showed gain of function experiments — commonly used to study the mechanisms of infection — had been carried out at the Wuhan institute, asking him if he would retract his previous statement that the “NIH never funded gain of function research in Wuhan”.

🗣 Fauci reacted angrily, saying: “I have never lied before the Congress, and I do not retract that statement,” and claimed the experiments detailed in the paper were “judged by qualified staff up and down the chain as not being gain of function.”

☣️ The U.S. House passed bipartisan legislation that would regulate toxic chemicals found in drinking water.

The legislation would direct the EPA to begin drafting rules limiting PFAS in drinking water while also giving the EPA authority to draft regulations for an entire class that includes thousands of PFAS-related chemicals found in a multitude of consumer products ranging from nonstick cookware to waterproof clothing.

However, according to the US Department of Veterans Affairs, 650,000 American military personnel have perished only on the battlefield.

The US COVID-19 death toll, as of today, stands at 609,000, the Johns Hopkins University coronavirus count indicates.
