Being one of the biggest international events of the year, the UN General Assembly gets a lot of media attention. But not everything that's been said reaches the airwaves. Christopher C. Black, an expert on international criminal, whom I interviewed on Wednesday, pointed at the fact that some speakers, such as the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi get much less attention than Joe Biden: “The only thing they mentioned today on CNN, I noticed, was Iran's statement that they want to get justice for the murder by the United States of General Soleimani in Iraq a couple of years ago. And that's a murder that Biden didn't apologize for.”

Putin “didn't label the whole West as the enemy of Russia,” Nicolai Petro, professor of political science at the University of Rhode Island, says, referring to the Russian president's speech on partial mobilization in the country.

💬 “He said there are parts of the West that are seeking to divide, conquer and ultimately destroy Russia. And they have always been there. Only now they are acting openly to promote this agenda," Prof. Petro adds.

Californians will be able to dispose of their loved ones from 2027 through compost burials or natural organic reduction (NOR), after state Governor Gavin Newsom signed a law allowing human composting.

NOR involves placing the body of the deceased in a 2.5-meter steel box surrounded by biodegradable materials such as wood shavings. The box is ventilated to allow germs and bacteria to do their work and the remains take between 30 and 60 days to decompose

📹 United Airline's Boeing 777-200 aircraft on its way from Newark to Sao Paulo made an emergency landing moments after it took off.

The video that emerged online shows sparks and debris falling from the aircraft to the ground. Luckily, after dumping fuel, the aircraft made a safe emergency landing.
