Never enough oil? A New York Federal Court has ordered the confiscation of a tanker that was illegally supplying North Korea with oil.
▪️The alleged owner of the tanker, Singaporean national Kwek Kee Seng, is expected to be charged for "conspiracy to evade economic sanctions on the DPRK and money laundering conspiracy."
▪️The tanker was said to have been purchased “through front companies” and between August and December of 2019 did not provide the necessary data regarding its location.
▪️During this period the tanker was said to have transferred over $1.5 million worth of oil for North Korea.

Authorities in Minnesota are investigating the killing of a woman who was found beheaded in the town of Shakopee earlier this week.
Police officers said they had discovered the decapitated body of 55-year-old America Mafalda Thayer on the sidewalk with several stab wounds.
