80% of British adults view Truss “unfavorably,” with 62% considering her “very unfavorably.” Overall approval of Truss now stands at -70, a 14-point drop since last week, a new YouGov survey shows.

🇨🇳🇹🇼 Interpol is unable to grant observer status to Taiwan, Secretary General Jurgen Stock says.

“In 1984, the Interpol General Assembly recognized the People’s Republic of China as the sole representation of China. As such Interpol recognizes Taiwan is part of China and as China is a member of Interpol, Interpol cannot grant Taiwan observer status in General Assembly,” Stock said at the 90th Interpol General Assembly.

The assembly gathers once a year and makes all the major decisions affecting general policy, the resources needed for international cooperation, working methods, finances, and programs of activities.
