❗️🇺🇸 COVID-19 cases in the US are up a whopping 43% from last week, and hospitalizations and deaths from the disease are up around 40%, Director of the Centers for Disease Control Rochelle Walensky said at a briefing today.
🙅 The New York state legislature is wrapping up its impeachment probe against Governor Cuomo over his alleged sexual misconduct, and is asking his lawyers to submit any evidence immediately for it to be considered in their investigation.
What we know so far:
▪️ Andrew Cuomo denies making any inappropriate advances against several women who accuse him of sexual harassment;
▪️ US President Joe Biden and other Democrats have called for Cuomo to resign; and
▪️ At least 40 of the New York Assembly members who say they are ready to start impeachment proceedings are Democrats.
