🌹🙅‍♂️ Relatives of the 9/11 victims – more than 1,800 people – have asked Joe Biden to skip all memorial services related to the tragedy's 20th anniversary this year.

They reportedly argue that the president shouldn’t visit places that are important to the families of the victims unless he fulfils his promise about reviewing the secrecy seal on some of the documents related to the 9/11 probes.

“We are frustrated, tired and saddened with the fact that the US government for 20 years has chosen to keep information about the death of our loved ones behind lock and key”, Brett Eagleson, son of 9/11 victim Bruce Eagelson, told NBC.

In October 2020, Biden, then a presidential candidate, pledged to “hear all of [the] voices” of the 9/11 victims’ families seeking “truth and accountability”.

Where does he stand regarding his promises now?

James Lenn Williams
behaved inappropriately and insulted a woman, which infuriated his friend. Then he knocked the male-victim to the ground and began to choke him. Police later reported that part of his ear was "missing and still bleeding".

🧐 In this fascinating story, only one question is raised: Where did the piece of the ear disappear to?

🍑 Don’t sneeze.

A judicial watchdog has filed a lawsuit against the US State Department demanding the release of information on whether American diplomats were forced by China to take “anal swabs” coronavirus tests, something that Washington has previously denied.

China has been taking anal swabs since January, claiming it is a more accurate than an oral test in determining infection.
📝 Bob Gibbs sent a letter to his Republican colleagues urging them to impeach Biden as he "continues to disregard his constitutional duties and boundaries".

😕 No doubt, just look at Texas, where Biden placed tents for migrants who tested positive for COVID. There has already been two things for which he should be impeached
🗣 “You know, we have roughly 350 million people vaccinated in the United States and billions around the world. And virtually no one has died because of that vaccinations [sic],” Biden said at the White House.

😒 Wait, how many? The country's total population is almost 330 mln, where did he get 20 mln more?

Maybe he decided to count undocumented immigrants as well? And another question is: how did 350 mln people manage to get vaccinated in such a short period of time?

But thanks to a worker, the Ohio family can now breathe a sigh of relief after returning the $ 25,000 accidentally thrown into the bin

😡 Subway franchisees are pressuring the fast-food giant to ditch soccer star Megan Rapinoe, who made a deal with Subway to shoot advertisement videos.

Rapinoe – a player who kneeled at the Tokyo Olympics just before kick-off – has been a long-time advocate of equal rights. Meanwhile, in the new commercial, she kicks a guy with a ball, knocking a burrito right out of his hands.

"The ad should be pulled and done with", one franchisee wrote of the Rapinoe ad. "It gets tiring apologising".

The ad is not the only reason franchisees are dissatisfied with the soccer player. Another, from Arizona, has blasted Subway for “spending our money to make a political statement” – talking, of course, about Rapinoe taking a knee during major sporting events.

🤔 Lawyers for NY Governor Andrew Cuomo have said there was a plot to drive him from office.

One of them, Rita Glavin, argued on Friday that the investigators are acting like “prosecutors, judge and jury” instead of being independent.

“This investigation was conducted in a manner to support a predetermined narrative”, she told journalists.

If such a plot really were to exist, would it succeed?

Cuomo, accused of sexually harassing at least 11 female colleagues, denies any wrongdoing and has refused to resign.

Meanwhile, investigators have also found that the governor, along with a senior aide, attempted to retaliate against the victims.

🙊 An interesting controversy took place in Washington, DC, when transgender Tiesa Meskis decided to ask the shopkeeper to remove a sign from the doors reading “If you are born with a d***, you are NOT a chick” because it offended Tiesa. Afterwards, he added that his intention was to say that "a trans woman is also a woman".

✍️ First, Meskis should remember the simple truth that “trans-women” are not, in fact, women. They’re men who believe they’re women - that’s why they’re called “trans”.

Secondly, the store owner, as a US citizen, is ennoscriptd to First Amendment rights protecting his freedom of speech.

What do you think? Who won the free speech fight?
