😨 The US National Park Service has urged visitors not to lick the large Sonoran Desert toad as they attempt to achieve a state of hallucinogenic enlightenment from the "potent toxin" the amphibian naturally secretes.

The toad - also known as the Colorado River toad - has protruding parotid glands that secrete a potent toxin which can make a person sick if the animal is touched, and even more so if the poison is ingested.

🗣“As we say with most things you come across in a national park, whether it be a banana slug, unfamiliar mushroom, or a large toad with glowing eyes in the dead of night, please refrain from licking,” the National Park Service said

▪️ According to Mnangagwa, Zimbabwe is to limit its greenhouse gas emissions to 44.7Mln tonnes of carbon dioxide by 2030. Other measures will be implemented to mitigate the climate crisis, but they would be more effective without the negative effect of the sanctions.

▪️ Mnangagwa called for the creation of a climate-themed bloc consisting of the Group 77 states plus China.
