🇮🇳👩🏾‍🦰🥊 The International Boxing Association's (IBA) women's world boxing championships is due to be hosted in India again.

In early April 2023, New Delhi will be the venue for the elite tournament - a role it has performed twice before, in 2006 and 2018.

The final dates of the competition have yet to be agreed and will be revealed by Umar Kremlev, the IBA's president.

Interestingly, India has never hosted the men's world boxing championship having lost the hosting rights because it refused to pay the necessary fee in 2021 after which the IBA canceled all previous agreements.

But India is determined to make the most of this opportunity and it is thought that the competition will take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. This year at the IBA's women's tournament in Turkey, India won three medals, including gold for 26-year-old Nikhat Zareen in the flyweight category.

🤔 The “NATO is not a party” in Ukraine talking point has been repeated ad nauseam over the past eight months, with Moscow catching the military bloc tripping up in its own lies last month after Mr. Stoltenberg warned that a Russian victory in Ukraine would constitute a “defeat” for NATO that would “make the world more dangerous.”

But can one ever be sure about their involvement in a security crisis threatening to escalate into a global inferno?

👉 Here are a few warning signs.

❗️Scott Ritter, a military analyst and former US Marine Corps intelligence officer, tells Sputnik why the Russian MoD's decision to withdraw from parts of the Kherson region to the left bank of the Dnepr River was right.

💬 “This is a decision that seemed to focus on preserving the lives of thousands of Russian soldiers over holding on to territory which has no intrinsic value in the short term. I think it was a just decision, one that was made based upon purely military objectives.”

💬 "And the most crucial rift is currently between the EU and the US. Even the French president who has had quite a vast educational background, I'm under the impression that he also doesn't really understand supply and demand and the ensuing market forces, because a few weeks ago he was complaining in public about the unfair prices by the US for their production. Right? Right. Nobody sets the price. And all of this is completely misunderstood."

🇺🇸 All in all, the former president endorsed 200 candidates during the GOP primaries, with 37 of them fighting for highly contested seats. Meanwhile, the liberal press raised the alarm on November 9 that a total of 150 "2020 election deniers" are projected to have won the midterm race, in a reference to Trump supporters who believe that the latest presidential election was awash with irregularities and fraud.

▪️The Trump political brand was put to the test on November 8, and it appears that the midterms bode well for the former president: the GOP's projected win in the House will bring an end to the Dems-led probe into his supporters, with the January 6 Committee on Capitol Attack becoming thing of the past.
