🎭 Milan's La Scala opera house has refused to cancel a performance of the Russian opera "Boris Godunov" next month despite a request to do so from the head of the local Ukrainian consulate.

💭 Riccardo Chailly, La Scala's music director, expressed dissatisfaction with the request, saying there was a lack of objectivity with respect to art. He added that the opera house will also perform Tchaikovsky in January, and later, a concert dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the death of Prokofiev, a famous Soviet-Russian composer.

🫡 Elon Musk has responded to naysayers of his new policy that Twitter employees come into the office instead of working from home, saying office attendance works well in his other companies, and that anyone who doesn’t like it can quit or be fired.

💬 “Let me be crystal clear, if people do not return to the office when they are able to return to the office – they cannot remain at the company,” Musk told staff at a meeting this week, with audio of his remarks leaked to media.

After a rebuttal from one employee, who pointed out that Twitter’s offices are not all in one location, and that workers wouldn’t always be in one given location, Musk countered by comparing the social media company to Tesla, and ordered employees to “maximize the amount of in-person activity.”

💬 “Tesla is not one place either, but you know, it’s basically if you can show up at an office and you do not show up at the office, resignation accepted – end of story,” he said.

🇷🇺 Ex Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Rogozin told Sputnik that his inspection group of military advisers in the zone of the Russian military operation in Ukraine had been working with military developers to create light attack drones for troops of the republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, incorporated into Russia in October.

▪️ These tests could be conducted right at the test sites of the republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, he added.

▪️According to Rogozin, the group is in close contact with over 10 Russian military developers from different cities that could initiate serial production of military drones.
