🇮🇳🇨🇳 Indian PM Modi shook hands with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G20 gala dinner.

This is the first such warm greeting since the 2020 Ladakh border clash.

🌐👘 G20 leaders, including Russia, which is represented at the summit by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, appeared at the gala dinner in Indonesian national dress.

The leaders were seen wearing different colored batik shirts: 🇷🇺 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov wore a green shirt, 🇨🇳Chinese President Xi Jinping wore blue, 🇮🇳Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and 🇬🇧British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and wore red, and 🇨🇦Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau was in purple.

The gala dinner concluded the official program of the first day of the G20 summit in Bali. The program will resume tomorrow.

Sputnik and RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan has announced the launch of a Serbian-language RT news portal for the Balkans, noting that Kosovo is part of Serbia.
