📊Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is closing the polling gap with former President Donald Trump as he gets closer to a 2024 White House bid.

🤔Since last month, the Florida governor’s standing in a hypothetical 2024 Republican primary improved by 11 points, bringing him up to 28 percent, according to a new Harvard CAPS/Harris poll.

Trump’s support, meanwhile, plummeted 9 points to 46 percent.

💬“Month after month, DeSantis has been rising and now he is cutting significantly into Trump...If they both run, this will be quite a race and Trump could well lose.” Mark Penn, the co-director of the Harvard CAPS/Harris poll, indicated.

The UK has supplied laser-guided Brimstone 2 missiles to Ukraine, UK media reported.
The missile can travel at double the previous model's range.

The UK first supplied Brimstone missiles to Ukraine about six months ago. Ukrainian troops have modified trucks to serve as mobile launch platforms for the missiles that are usually launched from the air.

⚡The nonprofit European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre documented an aftershock measuring in at a magnitude 6.0. The agency noted the second quake came about four minutes after the initial earthquake.

A second aftershock was registered at a magnitude 6.0 about 30 minutes after the first earthquake.

🤔The German government is considering flouting European Union (EU) rules against state aid to industries to counter US attempts to lure away investment and jobs.

🇷🇺 🇹🇷 Moscow calls on Turkey to show restraint in light of the strikes on Syrian territory, tensions cannot be allowed to escalate, Russia's special presidential envoy for Syria Alexander Lavrentyev said.

💬 "We will call on our Turkish colleagues to show certain restraint in order to prevent an escalation of tension, not only in the northern and northeastern regions of Syria, but throughout the entire territory," Lavrentyev said at the beginning of the 19th round of talks on the Syrian settlement in Astana.

🗣 He said work with all interested parties should be continued, and an attempt should be made to find a peaceful solution to the Kurdish issue.

▪️ The Associated Press has fired a journalist who wrote last week that Russian missiles allegedly "crossed the border of NATO member Poland, killing two people", US media reported, citing sources.

📌 On November 15, two missiles fell on Polish territory on the border with Ukraine, killing two people. Initially, Warsaw said that the missiles were Russian-made but later added that there was a high probability that they were shot by Ukrainian air defense forces working to intercept incoming Russian missiles. The Russian Defense Ministry said no strikes had been carried out on targets near the Ukrainian-Polish border.

🇵🇱 Russian pranksters Lexus and Vovan contacted Polish President Andrzej Duda shortly after a recent incident, where a stray Ukrainian missile hit Poland.

▪️ Posing as French President Macron, the pranksters asked the Polish president who, in his opinion, was to blame for what had happened.

▪️ The Polish leader said that in his opinion, the missile might belong to Russia, but that he was refraining from making accusations until the circumstances were clarified. Duda also said that in a conversation with Zelensky, his Ukrainian counterpart had expressed complete confidence that Moscow was fully responsible for the incident on the border, without waiting for the results of the investigation, adding that it couldn’t have been a Ukrainian missile.

▪️ As a result of the investigation, it was later revealed that the missile that hit the territory of Poland belonged to Ukraine.
