"I don't think the weapons that have been sent already to Ukraine have been tracked that well, just sort of like a fire-and-forget kind of mentality that, hey, we did a good thing, we sent all these weapons over there," the Director of Veterans for Peace Garett Reppenhagen said.

💬"In Afghanistan, we developed a special program to track these systems. And that program wasn't necessarily sync up to the systems that were used in the United States. So obviously, due to power failures and other issues in Afghanistan and then just the habit of using analog records and the lack of an ability to have those systems match up, Afghans were just basically going back to paper and pencil to record all these systems and then later had to manually data enter those."

‼️Pentagon: No Plans to Provide Patriot Missiles to Ukraine

The United States does not have any plans at this time to provide Patriot surface-to-air missile systems to Ukraine, Defense Department spokesperson Pat Ryder said on Tuesday.

"Air defense continues to be a top priority for the Defense Department and for the international community when it comes to supporting Ukraine. In terms of any type of Patriot battery from the US, right now, we have no plans to provide Patriot batteries to Ukraine, but again, we’ll continue to have those discussions," Ryder said during a press briefing.

Advanced systems such as the Patriot missile system require significant maintenance and training, which is accounted for when determining what aid to provide Ukraine, Ryder said.

💬“These corporations are set up to deal with logistics and personnel. And the government bases the military, provides a fixed contract with that company and then they wash their hands of the whole situation and say this is between the company and their employees. And typically these bases, like when I was in Iraq in the middle basically of a war zone, we brought foreign nationals in provided by Kellogg, Brown and Root,” Director for Veterans for Peace Garett Reppenhagen said, commenting on media reports that thousands of workers have allegedly been trafficked into jobs on US military bases by private contractors.

There is no evidence that Tehran intends to develop nuclear weapons, reviewing its participation in the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), Vladimir Yermakov, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Non-Proliferation and Arms Control Department, said in an interview with Sputnik.

💬"Iran has been and remains a conscientious participant in the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. The conclusion of the JCPOA in 2015 helped to finally and irrevocably remove all the questions that the [International Atomic Energy Agency] had to Tehran at that time...After that, for several years Iran remained the most verified state among agency members. No deviations from its obligations were identified...There is no evidence that would indicate Tehran's intention to ever reconsider its participation in the NPT and start developing a nuclear explosive device."
