💭 India's MEA also reminded Baerbock that Delhi supports dialogue and diplomacy, which was reflected in the G20 declaration signed in Bali.

Moscow earlier noted that negotiations with Kiev are not possible at the moment, as "they are absolutely rejected by the Ukrainian side."

Fault Lines discussed Australian PM Anthony Albanese's request for the US government to end its pursuit of Julian Assange with Misty Winston, a political activist, organizer and co-host of both the Facts On The Ground podcast and #FreeAssange vigils.

💬 "That is just monumentally insane to me that that is something that has been allowed to continue for this long and that there hasn't been a huge uproar from journalism, like we say with The New York Times and Der Spiegel, and all those people. Why hasn't that happened years ago? Why didn't it happen immediately following his arrest or whatever? All of media, every single outlet on planet Earth should be screaming about this from the top of their lungs. This is the future of press freedom, period. This hinges on this case - if Julian Assange is allowed to be extradited and prosecuted in the United States of America for the crime of doing journalism that opens a door and that destroys press freedom forever. And I do not think that we come back from that. We cannot afford to lose this one."
