"Karine, why is it so hard to take a question on the US-Africa Summit, when the president is meeting 50 African leaders — the biggest gathering of leaders of his administration? Why is it hard for you to address my question?" said the journalist. "It is not hard, I've answered your question," answered Karine Jean-Pierre, interrupting the journalist.

The press secretary defiantly moved on to other questions. Further attempts by the journalist to continue his question were unsuccessful. A few seconds later, she interrupted the briefing and left the hall 🤷‍♂️

Journalist Bari Weiss, using documents provided by Elon Musk, has published evidence of covert political censorship on Twitter.

The management lied to users about the absence of "shadowbans", but in practice secretly limited the distribution of tweets, reduced the "visibility" of certain accounts, and even censored entire topics in the interests of the Democratic Party.

The commission considered 200 cases a day - one could get on the “black list” by doubting the effectiveness of lockdowns, criticizing “sex change” operations on children, or simply for holding conservative political views.

📹 The Russian MoD has published a video of S-300V and Buk anti-aircraft missile systems continuing to serve in the new positional areas on combat duty.

The S-300V missile system works in conjunction with the Buk self-propelled firing system. The Buk's radar station scans the sky, determines the coordinates of targets and transmits them for radio capture and destruction to the S-300V crew.

China Delivers First Domestically Produced Passenger Jet in Bid to Challenge Boeing-Airbus Duopoly

Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (Comac) has been working on its own passenger jet for 14 years. However, Comac has yet to find buyers overseas.

The aircraft is considered a direct competitor to the Boeing 737 Max and is slightly cheaper. Nevertheless, experts say that it is necessary for Comac to acquaint the market with Chinese aircraft and find its niche if it hopes to compete with the industry's dominant players, Airbus and Boeing.

Senior Republicans Request Probe Into US Aid For Ukraine

Senior Republicans overseeing foreign affairs have demanded detailed information from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on Washington’s security aid to Kiev amid Russia’s ongoing special military operation in Ukraine.

In a letter to the GAO on Thursday, House Foreign Affairs Committee lead Republican Michael McCaul and Senator Jim Risch, ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations panel, wrote that they want information on how the US administration is monitoring almost $14.9 billion in funds that were allocated for Ukraine and disbursed through the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the US State Department.

🥶 Gas supplies to the European Union will remain limited in the coming years, with the energy situation expected to be even tighter in the winter of 2023-2024 than this heating season, Emmanuelle Wargon, the head of the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE), told press.

💬 "What we know is that the situation with gas supplies to Europe next winter will be much tighter than this winter. And although France does not consume much gas, Europe consumes quite a lot. We use gas for heating houses, and for our industry. Tensions with gas supplies will continue," Emmanuele Wargon said.

▪️ Everything is possible, contacts continue through the special services, Putin comments on the possibility of new prisoner exchanges with the United States.

▪️ Russia will have no losses due to the current Russian oil price cap.

▪️ Contacts between Russian and US intelligence agencies creates a certain atmosphere for a broader dialogue with the US, but they do not discuss other issues along this line.
