💬"Now, Canada has a parliamentary committee that's looking at a few new issues, and one of them is child euthanasia. So the reason is the law says that you can only have euthanasia at the age of 18. So a mature adult is how that would be defined. And while there's a big argument for isn't that a discrimination against children who are also, quote unquote, suffering? And I understand that in the same case, I understand that children could be suffering just like adults could be suffering. So if it's okay to kill an 18 year old," Alex Schadenberg - Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Canada executive director said.

💬"We legalized euthanasia in 2016. What they're now talking about is the further expansions of the law. It's actually much worse than people think because we originally legalized it, saying that it would only be for people who would be terminally ill, but they didn't really define that. They said that your natural death has to be reasonably foreseeable. So you already had a lot of slippery slope going on from the beginning because they never defined the term natural death being reasonably foreseeable and a lot of people claimed that their natural death was reasonably foreseeable," Alex Schadenberg - Euthanasia Prevention Coalition Canada Executive Director said.

🤔 People in Africa supporting Russia have no idea who Vladimir Putin is or where Donbass is located, that’s according to the EU’s gardener-in-chief Josep Borrell.

▪️ Now is Borrell judging people by his own merit? Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova certainly thinks so: “The gardener, impersonating the high representative of the EU for foreign affairs, has doubted that people in the Balkans and Africa know where Donbass is and who Putin is. Josep [Borrell], don't judge people [and compare them] to yourself.”

▪️ So, whose knowledge of geography should Borrell be actually worried about?

Russian Embassy Calls US Sanctions ‘Advertising Campaign’ Against ‘Inconvenient Regimes’

The latest US sanctions against Russia are an attempt to exert pressure on governments that are "inconvenient" for Washington, the Russian Embassy in the United States said.

"The new sanctions against Russian individuals and legal entities are nothing more than an advertising campaign by the US administration, aimed at denigrating the ‘inconvenient’ regimes by labeling them ‘violators of human rights.’ The goals are obvious - to try to exert pressure, to draw artificial dividing lines between ‘real democracies’ and ‘autocracies,’" the embassy said in a Friday comment.
