🇸🇪 Swedes are becoming a minority in their own country, warned Hanif Bali, a leading light in the Swedish Moderate Party and former board member, foreseeing the terrible consequences of mass immigration.
🗣 “The so-called majority Swedes are becoming a minority... in some parts of the country it has already happened. In Malmo, only 32 percent of primary school pupils have two Swedish-born parents, in Gothenburg and Stockholm the figure is 46 and 50 percent respectively — and these figures are shrinking every year,” Bali wrote

🇺🇸🌍 Leaders of the African countries and the US disagree on how a political settlement to the Ukraine crisis can be reached, with the main point of divergence being sanctions against Russia, the US media reported
🗣"The Africans want to see a diplomatic solution to this conflict. We generally do, too, but 'nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine,'" the White House said in a press briefing, adding: "The disconnect comes when some of the countries have expressed discomfort with sanctions and criticisms of Russia that they think make it more difficult to get to a diplomatic solution."
▪️According to the media, the White House will seek ways to boost the US-African partnership during the United States-Africa summit in Washington "rather than paternalism" in its interaction with African countries.

Jim Rogers, one of the most famous investors in the world, shared his thoughts about the main events concerning the global economy and his forecasts with Sputnik:
▪️The next two to three years may be the worst for the global economy because of the excessive amount of accumulated debts, and the US will suffer a severe recession in the next year or two
▪️The problem of inflation around the world will persist because central banks have been flooding the markets with money
▪️Most of the existing critical currencies will disappear and depreciate
▪️The price cap on Russian oil will have no effect, because the market will find a way to bypass controls.
▪️The United States does not have enough energy resources to saturate European consumers, so Russia will maintain its presence in the region's market.
▪️The United States has allowed oil production in Venezuela to help Europe in conditions of energy shortage
▪️Investments in Russia can be profitable, and should be considered right now by investors who are not influenced by western sanctions.
▪️Tensions will grow between the US and Europe against the background of the EU's economic problems.
▪️The US export restrictions on semiconductor technologies in China will lead to the development of this industry in China itself and harm America's interests in the long run

Prodigal Son: Why EU Can't Help Turning to Russia's Gas Next Winter
💬 "Germany and France fought several bloody wars over coal deposits in Alsace-Lorraine only to find themselves allies again. Things change in international politics and I wouldn’t rule out restoration of Germany’s energy trade with Russia, though not to the extent of dependency we saw before the [Russo-Ukraine conflict]," Dr. Gal Luft, co-director of the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security and a senior adviser to the US Energy Security Council, told Sputnik.
Previously, Russia typically supplied about 40% of Europe's natural gas. Most of the commodity reached the Old Continent through gas pipelines going via Ukraine, Belarus, and the Baltic Sea. Deliveries last year amounted to around 155 billion cubic meters (bcm).

21 Years Ago Today: US Rips Up ABM Treaty With Russia, Starting Slow Slide Toward Current Crisis
21 years ago, the US began to unravel the post-Cold War security environment by pulling out of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty, a 1972 agreement which limited the US and USSR’s ability to develop and deploy anti-missile defenses.
The fateful decision demonstrated to Moscow that Washington's rainbows and puppy dog promises of eternal friendship after the collapse of the USSR were a bluff, and prompted Russia to dust off development work on hypersonic weapons systems designed to preserve the global strategic balance.
