🇺🇸Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance charged Ex-New York Observer Editor-in-Chief Ken Kurson with cybercrimes despite his being pardoned in January by then-President Donald Trump.

While announcing the charges related to allegations of Kurson spying on his wife in 2015-2016, Vance said:

“We will not accept presidential pardons as get-out-of-jail-free cards for the well-connected in New York."

🇺🇸President Joe Biden told ABC he did not see a way for the US to exit Afghanistan without "chaos ensuing" and downplayed photos from a couple days ago showing Afghans falling from planes.

In Joe Biden's interview with George Stephanopoulos, in which the president dismissed questions about his responsibility for the chaos unfolding in Afghanistan, Biden took offense when Stephanopoulos brought up photos and videos of Afghans trying to escape on U.S. air transports.
