📊 A poll from the Pew Research Center has shown that four times as many Americans now think that their country gives too much assistance to Ukraine compared to ten months ago

The latest poll shows that the percentage of US citizens growing disillusioned with Washington’s latest military gambit has increased from 7% to 26% over the last ten months. The number of those who believe that the US is supplying "too much" to Ukraine now outweighs those who believe it is providing "too little." There is a clear partisan divide among respondents, with Republicans more likely to oppose further military assistance and Democrats three times more likely to agree with the position they expressed in March.

💬 "Before this all began, we were told Ukraine was the most corrupt government in Europe. And I wouldn't say the things have improved. The standard of living, people there are not prospering and certainly not now. And there's all kinds of stories, including drugs, including I just read a horrific piece by Deborah Armstrong about traffic organ transplants, which sound really scary. And then the question of also not reporting people dead or letting their families know because the government doesn't want to pay the benefits out for a soldier lost in combat. So I think that's absolutely the case. And then, of course, here on this end of things, I find it very bizarre and you probably noticed that how many Ukrainians are with the news media? It is really peculiar. They clearly did a big job to get in there somehow." says Diane Sare, political organizer and 2024 candidate for the New York US Senate.

💬 "The thing that really breaks my heart, actually, is that I was just reading excerpts of an interview by Viktor Medvedchuk, one of the opposition party leaders. He's saying there's a lot of people in Ukraine who are not Nazis, who don't support Azov Battalion or C14 or the Svoboda Party, or they might be members of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which is now under attack. And people are terrified to speak against the regime because the tactics that they use are torture and humiliation and beatings. And I think that this is actually going to be one of the stories when this thing ends and we all survive, I knock on wood, what comes out of an underground resistance in Ukraine? What these people are probably going through right now and the truth is going to come out about what's going on there." says Diane Sare, political organizer and 2024 candidate for the New York US Senate.

Mission Impossible? Why NATO is Failing to ‘Ukrainize’ South Korea & Japan

Tanks, artillery, armored personnel carriers, and even jet fighters and submarines are all produced and actively exported by South Korea. Japan also has significant military-industrial potential. NATO could use this to prolong the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

However, the NATO Secretary General's visits to Seoul and Tokyo have done little to inspire optimism in Kiev and Brussels: no offensive weapons supplies from South Korea and Japan are on the table.
