The vast majority in Crimea don't want to be part of Ukraine, PressTV correspondent Johnny Miller, who has been working in Donetsk for a while, says.
💬 "Being in Crimea, if I was to walk around Sevastopol and say ‘this is Ukraine’, you would feel ridiculous because everyone's telling you ‘we're Russian’ and it feels like a Russian place. So when Ukraine and NATO say, we are going to take back Crimea, let me tell you the vast majority in Crimea don't want to be part of Ukraine. They want to be part of Russia and Russia will defend Crimea."

PressTV correspondent in Donetsk Johnny Miller speaks about Ukraine shelling the Donbass republic, killing children.
💬 "Sometimes they [the shells] get there, It just lands in the streets and they'll kill. Sometimes they get there, there’s bodies on the street, the bus station, the markets. A young woman killed, the other people killed. And there's just bodies in the streets. And it's really hard to explain... The children's funerals as well. Makeevka, the neighboring city of Donetsk, I went there and we just stumbled upon the funeral of a six-year-old girl and we asked if we could film. We filmed this. And this girl's killed by Ukrainian shelling. And the next day I went to another funeral of a girl and I got shouted at for being there and told to leave when they found out I was British, they said Boris Johnson, former British Prime Minister, Emmanuel Macron, the French president - you did this, shame on you."

🇬🇧 Royal Navy sailors from the HMS Portland were poisoned by allegedly drinking water that was contaminated with chemicals, according to British media.
The HMS Portland uses a reverse osmosis water system, which purifies sea water and makes it drinkable; however, a report suggests that this time an engineer got the mix wrong. If the responsible engineer had not quickly reported his mistake to the officers, things could have been much worse, the report adds.
The ship docked at Portsmouth Naval Base and the poisoned were taken to the Queen Alexandra Hospital. The exact number of poisoned sailors in unclear. The scientists are currently trying to evaluate damage done to the ship and its water-purifying system.

❗️ Russian MFA’s latest statements:
▪️ All participants in the meeting on February 3 will be severely disappointed - the goals of Russia's special operation will be fully achieved, the MFA says, commenting on the results of the Ukraine-EU summit;
▪️ Statements by Brussels officials following the summit with Ukraine cross out the principles on which the EU was once built;
▪️ Brussels' calls for peace are hypocritical in conditions where it declares its readiness to invest in the continuation of hostilities.
