❗️The latest briefing from Russia's MoD on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine: ▪️Russian troops inflicted a strike with long-range precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles on critical facilities of the energy system that ensures…
▪️ Russian aviation and artillery inflicted a complex defeat on the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Ugledar, Pavlovka and Novoselka of the Donetsk People's Republic. Enemy losses were more than 95 Ukrainian troops, four tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, two vehicles, an M109 Paladin artillery system made in the USA, three D-20 howitzers, and a Giacint-B howitzer. In addition, three ammunition depots were destroyed.
▪️ In the Kherson region, two Msta-B and D-30 howitzers were destroyed during a counter-battery fight. The ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was also hit.
▪️ Russian aviation, missile forces and artillery defeated the 92nd Artillery unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 116 districts.

Nineteen unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by means of air defense.

Germans Opposing Arms Supplies to Kiev Need to Start Peace Movement, Lawmaker Says
Germans that advocate peace talks and oppose arms supplies to Kiev must organize into a movement for peace, otherwise the situation will deteriorate further and Germany will get dragged deeper into the Ukraine-Russia conflict, lawmaker Sahra Wagenknecht told a German newspaper on Friday.
Earlier in the day, Wagenknecht, a member of the German Parliament for The Left Party and prominent German feminist journalist Alice Schwarzer launched a petition noscriptd "Manifest for Peace."
In their petition, the pair called on German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to stop sending arms to Ukraine and initiate peace talks. As of yet, over 75,000 people have signed the petition.

Iranian Official Calls EU Decision on Russian Oil Price Cap 'Tribute' to US Antics
The EU's decision to set a price cap on Russian oil is a "tribute" to the United States, since the bloc's economy is not strong enough to determine the price of Russian oil and is itself suffering from the ceiling, Fereidoun Abbasi-Davani, a member of the Iranian parliament commission on energy, told Sputnik.
"This decision is more of a political, propaganda act. Europe is not powerful enough to set a price cap on Russian oil," Abbasi-Davani said, adding that the EU, being under US pressure, "is paying tribute to Washington's antics."
