US 'Doomsday Plane' Capable of Ordering World-Ending Nuclear Strikes Spotted in Europe
Wing One is the US Navy’s nuclear command and control wing. Based out of the Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma, the unit’s primary mission consists of receiving, verifying and retransmitting “Emergency Action Messages (EAMs) to US strategic forces.” In Pentagon jargon, EAMs are messages directing US nuclear forces to launch strikes against enemy targets in conditions of nuclear war. In addition to its ability to deliver launch orders to ballistic missile submarines, the planes can remotely order ground-based operators of Minuteman intercontinental ballistic missile silos to launch their payloads.

Kiev Urged to 'Start Its Own Defense Spending Planning' as Costs of Arms Shipments to Ukraine Soar
The Kiev regime should begin to cover at least part of the cost of arms shipments it receives, instead of totally relying on an endless supply of free weapons from the West, US Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Celeste Wallander said.
Ukraine's authorities “haven’t done any big figure procurement from American companies,” Wallander told Congress.

East Palestine Residents Reportedly Suffering From ‘Chemical Bronchitis’ After Train Derailment
Health workers treating people from East Palestine, Ohio and the surrounding communities have reported a pattern of worrying symptoms. These include what they say could be a form of chemical bronchitis (also known as industrial bronchitis) – an inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes carrying air to and from the lungs typically caused by prolonged exposure to chemical fumes, acids or dusts.
Residents of the small Ohio community on the border with Pennsylvania have spent weeks now reporting various symptoms, including shortness of breath, severe headaches, dizziness, coughing and odd rashes. They have also reported the deaths of pets and farm animals, and spotted hundreds of dead fish washing up on the shores of local creeks.

'Buildup for War': US Spins COVID Lab Leak Narrative to 'Pin Blame on China'
US-China relations have been gripped by weeks of heightened tensions of late, amid the shootdown of an alleged Chinese spy balloon over the United States by the Biden administration, with Beijing insisting the flying craft was part of a civilian weather research initiative. This was followed by bellicose warnings that the US "would respond" if it determined China had in fact provided any form of lethal arms to aid Russia in its operation in Ukraine. Such claims have been dismissed by Beijing, which underscored that, "China has been actively promoting peace talks and the political settlement of the crisis.”

The so-called “Havana Syndrome” illness did not result from the actions of a foreign adversary using an energy weapon to harm the health of US diplomatic staff overseas, US media claims, citing a new intelligence report.
Five US intelligence agencies concluded it was “very unlikely” that any foreign adversary targeted US diplomats and intelligence staff with the help of some sort of energy weapon that caused strange and painful acoustic sensations, according to the report.
The report contradicts repeated claims by victims of the alleged attacks and US lawmakers and officials who claimed that Russian intelligence agencies could've been behind "the illness."

According to the report, their differences began to show themselves in May 2022, several months after the US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) asked the DOJ to see if Trump had more of the classified records from his administration that it was missing.

'New Frontier': Scientists Lay Out Plan for Building AI Using Human Brain Cells
Their idea is to use “organoids,” or 3-D cultures of human brain cells that replicate brain functions such as learning and memory, and which can form drastically more connections than even the best computer chips.
Their study found that the human brain can store roughly 2,500 terabytes of information, which is about 1,000 times more memory than the newest MacBook Air laptop. Human brains are also vastly more energy efficient than circuit boards, requiring only “enough power to run a dim light bulb” in order to store an amount of information equivalent to the entire internet, according to a previous study.

Scientists: NASA’s Asteroid-Diverting DART Test ‘Validated’ Using Kinetic Impact for Earth Defense
A group of five closely related studies have corroborated the accuracy of previous conclusions: when NASA crashed a spacecraft into an asteroid last year as part of an experiment, it altered the rock’s course much more than was expected. The method is now seen as the best way to protect Earth from rogue, civilization-ending asteroids.

Four Million British Kids in 'Food Poverty,' Says NGO Amid Inflation Crisis
The survey on behalf of the Food Foundation, an NGO which promotes healthy eating, found that 22% households said they had skipped meals or even fasted for a whole day in January this year, an increase on the 12% reporting the same at the start of last year.
