One year into the sanctions campaign launched by the West over the Ukraine crisis, the Russian economy has persevered as global economic foundations have suffered a serious blow from anti-market decisions like the seizure of assets and a price cap on Russian oil, Russian Ambassador to US Anatoly Antonov said in an interview.

He recalled that throughout history numerous Muslim women, including Afghans, played an important role in the outcome of wars. He noted that this applies to the jihad of the Taliban themselves as well.
The movement claims that Islam views men and women as the two wings of society, and its policy is aimed at making ladies truly happy, in this life and the next.
A key point to mention is that the Taliban do not allow women to be oppressed, for example, mistreat wives and forcibly marry widows. Work is underway to provide women with a proper environment for education and work, so that they are comfortable within the framework of Islamic and Afghan values.
