'Made in Russia' Stand to Open at Innoprom Central Asia 2023

Central Asia 2023, one of the largest industrial exhibitions in the CIS, will take place in Tashkent from April 24-26. The Russian Export Center will organize the Made in Russia exhibition at the event, with over 50 Russian companies showcasing their products across various sectors.

The exhibition will offer a platform for Russian businesses to establish partnerships with Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries.

The event will also host B2B meetings and a round table discussing technological cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan, including personnel training, equipment and technology transfer, joint ventures, and export opportunities.

🇺🇸🇷🇺Russia is in the “hot phase of war” with the United States but It is necessary to maintain relations, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Wednesday, adding that Russia still hopes that the United States will listen to the voice of reason and resume dialogue.

"We are really in the hot phase of the war, because the Ukrainian Nazis are fighting with American weapons first of all. And every time the American administration threatens to supply more and more long-range and deadly systems," Lavrov told the Rossiya 1 broadcaster.

When asked about new US Ambassador Lynne Tracy presenting her credentials to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Lavrov said that “relations, I believe, should be maintained”.

"At least we do not lose hope that the Americans will listen to the voice of reason and they will resume some kind of dialogue. Let's see, we will not be waiting for long," Lavrov added.

China Firmly Opposes US-Taiwan Contacts Following Meeting Between McCarthy, Tsai

A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson called on Washington to stop upgrading relations with Taiwan while reiterating China's readiness to take "strong and resolute measures" to defend the country's sovereignty.

Earlier, Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen met with US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and other lawmakers in Los Angeles, California, during her transit trip to the country.

Trump Calls on Republicans to Defund DOJ and FBI

Trump made his statement after his short arraignment in Manhattan court, which occurred after a grand jury voted to indict him on criminal charges over alleged hush money payments made to an adult film star by the name of Stormy Daniels.

🇹🇷 First Turkish-made main battle tank Altay is planned to be delivered to the country's armed forces in 2-3 weeks

💬 "We are now producing tanks ourselves. God willing, we will put our Altay tank into service and hand it over to the army within 2-3 weeks," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with the TV360 broadcaster.

▪️ Murat Yalcintas, the head of Turkish company BMC, has earlier said that Turkiye was ready to mass produce Altay tanks, adding that the first two tanks would be delivered to armed forces for trials on April 23. He added that Altay tanks are equipped with Korean-designed, while the Turkish ones will be produced by 2026. He did not rule out that Ankara could start exporting the Turkish tank to friendly countries.

Turkish Foreign Minister Likens Sweden to Nazi Germany Over Quran-Burning Verdict

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has slammed the Swedish administrative court's decision, which faulted the Stockholm police for denying permission for Quran-burning protests outside of the Turkish and Iraqi embassies earlier this year.

While the Swedish police justified the subsequent bans with security concerns and claimed that the Quran-burning made Sweden a "higher-priority target for attacks," the court ruled on April 5 that these considerations are not sufficient to limit the right to demonstrate and that such protests are protected by the country's constitution.

▪️ The disease was also the reason Berlusconi was taken to hospital in March, Italian newspaper reported, adding that his recent health problems, including pneumonia, were in fact complications caused by the disease.

US-South Korea Drills ‘Driving Situation on Korean Peninsula to Brink of Nuclear War’
