😐 Thomas Markle seemed unimpressed when he saw Meghan and Harry on the cover of Time 100.
When asked why he didn’t buy the magazine with his daughter on the cover, the 77-year-old replied, “Well that is only Time magazine's opinion, there are far more influential people, like the Queen”.

Former US President Donald Trump called North Korean leader Kim Jong-un a “f**king lunatic”, Newsweek has reported, citing an excerpt from the upcoming book “Peril” by WaPo journalists Robert Costa and Bob Woodward.
The journos wrote that the incident occurred when Trump was speaking to Joseph Keith Kellogg, a national security adviser to ex-VP Mike Pence. Trump felt “comfortable” around Kellogg and wasn't afraid to use strong language, according to the book.
Trump and Kellogg’s representatives have not yet commented on the issue.

😷 San Francisco Mayor London Breed, who violated her own mask mandate last week by dancing maskless in a nightclub, says she doesn’t need “the fun police to come in and micromanage”.
Last month, she issued one of the strictest indoor mask mandates in the state. It obligates the wearing of masks indoors, unless the person is actively eating or drinking.
Mayor Breed explained her actions to media as follows: “My drink was sitting at the table. I got up and started dancing because I was feeling the spirit and I wasn’t thinking about a mask”.
The mayor called the story a distraction and said, “The fact that this is even a story is sad”.
Photos from that evening showed almost none of the club’s visitors wearing a mask.

📖 According to Bob Woodward and Robert Costa's new book, ‘Peril’, top White House aides set up a "wall" to prevent such incidents by keeping him from "unnoscripted events or long interviews."
🗣 "That side of Biden -- his tendency to at times be testy or mangle statements -- was still with him and now part of his presidency," the book says.
🧐 Is it just his tendency? Because it looks more like an excuse for an older person who just forget what they want to say
