▪️Ukrainians have “no input” into the total terror unleashed on them by their government;

▪️Kiev is trying to sabotage the work of the Zaporozhye NPP;

▪️Russia’s strikes in Ukraine aim specifically for military infrastructure facilities or ammunition depots.

📹 Vladimir Putin confirms Russian strike on Ukrainian military intel HQ in Kiev

💬 "We've already mentioned that we can strike the decision-making centers and headquarters. Obviously, the Military Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's headquarters is also such a target. And in response, as you are well aware, the Kiev regime chose a different path, a path to try to intimidate Russia and its citizens, to try to target residential buildings. It is an obvious indicator of terrorist activity".

Zelensky has turned Ukraine into 'new Afghanistan,' Former PM Azarov says

💬 "Over the years, presidents of Ukraine made promises to turn the country into either a new France or a new Switzerland. However, Zelensky went further than anyone and turned the country into a new Afghanistan, to the delight of the Anglo-Saxons and defense companies," former Ukrainian prime minister Nikolai Azarov wrote in a social media post.

"What do you think? Is there is a chance that Washington will get tired of its 'toy' in the foreseeable future? Or is the pleasure of playing dirty tricks on Russia more important than the lives of the hostages of the Kiev regime?" the politician asked.

AI can 'turn stalker,' 'targeting victims' using facial recognition tools, experts warn

Amid growing concerns about the recent strides made by artificial intelligence technology, software engineer and DeepAI founder Kevin Baragona was one of those who joined the likes of Elon Musk and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak in signing an open letter calling for a pause in AI development.

Kevin Baragona, warns that artificial intelligence (AI) could be used for nefarious purposes, such as stalking people through facial recognition.

Advanced facial recognition technology could make it easier for stalkers to track victims, and there have been warnings about the US government potentially misusing AI in secrecy.

"There are services online that can use a photo of you... and I can find everything... Every instance of your face on the internet, every place you've been, and use that for stalker-type purposes," Baragona said.

Rare 'lopsided' supernova blast kicked dead star across galaxy

The dead star found as a result of the new research has been dubbed "the Mini Mouse" due to its similarity to that earlier detected radio nebula. This object was produced due to very special circumstances.

After the demise of a massive star in an explosion - a supernova - if the latter is, so to say, lopsided, uneven energy distribution can result in a rare phenomenon. The pulsar formed during the explosion gradually left the place of its birth, moving at a speed of 320-360 km/s, with the entire process accompanied by the formation of a radio nebula with a cometary-like shape. This glow of light is what's called a pulsar bow-shock nebula.

Using the MeerKAT radio telescope, European astronomers were observing this binary star formation named GRS 1915+105, consisting of a black hole and a normal star. Their work was part of the Thundercat Large Survey Program.

💳 🇨🇳 UnionPay's growing popularity is driven by its monopoly on yuan transactions and the increasing global use of the Chinese currency. With a transaction volume of $16.227 trillion, UnionPay has surpassed Visa ($14.109 trillion) in popularity.

"It is important to understand that the SWIFT system is an international interbank system, whereas UnionPay is an international payment system. It is important to realize that UnionPay cannot completely replace SWIFT. However, if companies or individuals are subject to Western sanctions, the use of UnionPay can indeed help them partially to avoid financial sanctions, because debit cards mainly meet the needs of managing personal or business accounts. They allow payments and control of funds. After all, accounts opened within the UnionPay system cannot be subject to Western sanctions," Jia Jinjing, assistant dean of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at the Renmin University of China, told Sputnik.

Biden accuser Tara Reade: My two choices in US were to walk into cage or be killed

Tara Reade, a US citizen and ex-assistant to Joe Biden, who has recently arrived in Russia, told Sputnik she no longer feels safe in Biden's America, adding that many Americans are ready to follow in her footsteps.

💭 "We [the American people] need systemic change. So participate in that process and try to take command of your democracy if you want a democracy, because right now it's in disarray [...] And that's the problem." And as far as like going to another safe haven, I mean, there are many Americans here, and I don't want to out a bunch of Americans, but there are people here that are coming to Russia - much like back in the day when Soviet Union people defected over to the US - now you have the opposite. Now you have US and European citizens looking for safe haven here. And luckily, the Kremlin is accommodating. So we're lucky," Reade said.
